Who are we

We are an ambitious start-up that has secured venture funding which is allowing us to rapidly grow the business.  Our main brand is RootWave.

What are we about

Our technology uses electricity to kill weeds and is at the forefront of solving two of the most pressing global issues. The first is to remove chemical herbicides from our food and the environment to improve the health of the global ecosystem. The second is to create healthy soils that capture and store carbon to reduce the impact of global warming. Our technology is a sustainable and regenerative alternative to chemical herbicides.

Our expectations

As an innovative business we have moved away from detailed job descriptions.  We will give you an overview of the role as it stands today and empower you to grow in your role as our company evolves.

We will expect you to support the Head of People with recruiting high calibre talent into the business, become a subject matter expert in LinkedIn Recruiter and provide all candidates with a first-class experience regardless of the recruiting outcome.  You will also provide support for the People Agenda.

Who you are

You will ideally have at least 1 years’ recruitment experience, you may come from a recruitment agency but would like to do in-house recruiting; or you may have recently graduated and looking to start your HR career; or maybe you are more experienced and can hit the ground running.  You will be highly organised, able to multi-task, self-motivated and confident when talking to candidates.  Recruiting engineering roles would be highly desirable but is not essential as having a can do and willing to learn attitude is what we are looking for.  Opportunity to develop your career around the whole HR lifecycle will be available.
