Graduate Logistics Planner

Who are we:

We are an ambitious start-up that has secured venture funding which is allowing us to rapidly grow the business.

What are we about:

Our technology uses electricity to kill weeds and will help solve two global issues. The first is to remove chemical herbicides from our food and the environment to improve the health of society and the ecosystem. The second is to create healthy soils that capture and store carbon to reduce the impact of global warming. Our technology is a sustainable and regenerative alternative to chemical herbicides.

We expect you to operate on two fronts:

Internal Facing

  • Provide top-notch operational logistics to support business objectives.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of stock control; replenishment of inventory, internal/external transactions and put-aways.
  • Assembly of Bill of Material (BOM) kitted packs for in-house prototype production.
  • Optimize and manage consumables stock.

Customer Facing

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the business positively.
  • Ensure customer aftersales parts enquiries, orders, returns and shipments are fulfilled.
  • Support goods’ inwards repairs service with aftersales department.

Who you are:

  • An ambitious, pro-active individual with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Organised and process-driven.
  • Keen to develop strong skills in Logistics, Supply Chain and Customer-facing disciplines

Other notes about the role:

  • Experience in Warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential
  • There will be on the job / in-house training for resource planning software
  • A career path within Supply Chain and Planning is embedded in this role
  • FLT training is advantageous but not essential
  • This role will need to be site based
